This workshop is for anyone wanting to learn who to plan a successful revegetation project

The course will cover:

Knowledge

• Reconstruction or regeneration – understanding restoration approaches and when to revegetate
• Understand the difference between revegetation and ecosystem reconstruction
• Working out what species to plant – What is your reference ecosystem and how to work out a suitable plant list
• Site preparation – how to minimise weed maintenance post planting
• Understanding and working with your soil weed seed bank
• Planning for success – determining plant protection and water requirements, activity timing

• Working out your reference ecosystem

• Class sizes are capped at 16 people to ensure quality learning & engagement
